After an action-packed day of activities, a good night's sleep is very important!
We can accommodate up to 140 guests within the Centre.
Our modern bedrooms sleep four guests, with bunk beds, complimentary bedding and en-suite bathrooms in every room. There are also wheel-chair accessible rooms available, which sleep just two guests.
To keep your things secure whilst your out and about, all of our bedrooms are equipped with special access key cards and lockers for storing your luggage. Padlocks for the lockers can be hired from Reception at a small fee, to keep your belongings extra safe!
Your safety is at the top of our priority list! A Mount Cook team member will be on call 24 hours a day to support groups during their stay.
Located just outside of the Centre, our brand new Glamping Pods provide unique accommodation for up to 40 guests. Each Pod sleeps four guests in bunk-bed style accommodation, complete with USB phone charging points, a heater and a private en-suite toilet and wash basin. Showers are located on the ground-floor of the Centre, just a few steps away from our Pods.
Hiking, canoeing, rock-climbing and archery are just a few of the activities you can participate in whilst enjoying your Glamping experience. The pedestrianised High Peak Trail runs parallel to our Centre, with bike hire available at Middleton Top. Or you can walk into the historical town of Cromford, and visit World Heritage Site Cromford Mill – the heart of the Industrial Revolution during the 19th Century.
Our Glamping experiences allow you to reconnect with and experience nature and the great outdoors. Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, and escape to the country where you can relax, recharge and try new experiences and activities!
For those who like sleeping under the stars, we have a secure onsite camping paddock which can sleep a further forty guests. Camping equipment including tents, sleeping bags and liners, roll mats and camping stoves are available to hire from our Centre. Communal toilets and showers are exclusively available for campers in the early morning and late evening. There is also a designated campfire pit nearby, where you can conclude a busy day by toasting some marshmallows under the night sky - fantastic!
