OUTDOOR ACTIVITY RESIDENTIALS IN DERBYSHIRE
We are a not-for-profit organisation, based in Derbyshire, providing access to the outdoors for all.
Mount Cook provides group stays and outdoor activities, as well as a range of courses and events for individuals.
Our adventurous activities are designed to broaden horizons, develop key skills and create lasting memories.
We work with a range of groups; from schools, to charities, to businesses.

What we offer
We are dedicated to engaging young minds with the great outdoors, expanding each pupil's appetite for learning and encouraging curiosity. We run school residentials 12 months of the year.
Mount Cook provides a wide variety of development programmes and team building events. Whether you would like a bespoke outdoor event or just a fun day out, we have options for your team.
We are committed to providing access to outdoor activities for everyone, which includes a wide variety of groups. We provide activities and venue to create the perfect experience for your group.
Need an unusual venue for your big event? We also exclusively hire out our beautiful modern centre, with plenty of outdoor space, communal areas and accommodation for up to 180 people.

HOW WE STARTED
Mount Cook was founded by outdoor enthusiasts and friends, Robin Sibson and Colin Adams. Having enjoyed many adventures throughout their lives and eager to give something back, Colin and Robin wanted to enable others to enjoy and appreciate the great outdoors through adventurous outdoor activities and outdoor learning in Derbyshire.
The purpose-built centre took just 1 year to build and opened its doors to the public in July 2016.
Since the summer of 2016, we have welcomed over 30,000 individuals through our doors and continue to work with a variety of schools, groups, organisations and charities to provide exceptional outdoor experiences.
